My Backyard Game

Most of my time I played indoor games and computer games. Here, I would like to describe a Fishing Game that I participated during my Church Choir Family Day. We played this game at our church backyard and it was a fun game.

We make used of recycled products for our game in order to saved cost.

FISHING GAME
============

Game Preparation:
-----------------------------
We need to make 3 fishing rod from recycled items of
dried tree branches,  raffle string to wrap tree branches, rope for the fishing line and thin wire for the hook.

We need to look for recycled products  examples: bottles cap, table tennis balls, metal forks or spoons...etc. (as fishes)
tied each item with a piece of wire, make a loop.

Label each item with score marks, example: 2, 4, 5, 10 with a marker pen.

We need to prepare 1 circular tub, filled tub with water.

Put all tied items (fishes) in the tub.

Ready for the game:
-------------------------------

1. Form 3 groups A, B and C, each group with 5 players.

2   Start off with a blow of whistle Preet!!..Time given 3 mins.

3. The first player runs towards the tub, take a fishing rod and fish out any object from the tub.

4. Pass on to next player, if player takes too much of time and cannot fish out anything.

5. Blow whistle P...reet!!! when times up.

6. The group with the most scored marks wins.

My Mom's Kitchen

Well...It's Sunday. It's my dad's imaginations and suggestion to have a kind of home cook Baked Spice Gravy Pork Belly for our family dinner tonight.

My dad does not cook, he describes to my mom that he would love to eat pork belly which marinates with spices, sauces, whereby the pork belly is put to bake in the oven, with spice gravy.

My mom feels something is challenging in her cooking, after visualised what dad wants for dinner. Mom took out from the fridge a strip of pork belly with ribs...and this is my mom's recipe Baked Spice Gravy Pork Belly all the ingredients are from what she gets from her kitchen.

Baked Spice Gravy Pork Belly

Ingredients:

1 strip of pork belly
3 tbsp thick black soya sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp light soya sauce
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp red wine
2 tbsp water
1 stick cinnamon
2 star aniseed
1 tbsp five spice

1. Wash and clean pork belly, put aside.

2. In a pot, boil 1.5 litres of water, when water boils; put in the strip of pork belly and cook for 5 mins, turning pork belly over. Take out the strip of pork belly. Put aside.

3. In a mixing bowl, combine all above ingredients, mixed well.

4. Put the strip of pork belly into the mixing bowl, spread all over the pork belly with the mixed ingredients. Marinate for 1 hour.

5. Bake in the preheated 350F oven for 15 mins, then reduce the heat to 300F and continue to bake for 30 mins.(or until cooked)

6. Let the cooked  Baked Spice Gravy Pork Belly sits in the oven, while preparing the sauce.

Next my mom made the sauce ...in a wok she puts 1/2 tsp of cooking oil and fry the finely chopped garlic, add in 1/2tsp black soya sauce,  1 tbsp honey, 3 tbsp water, 1/2 tsp  cornstarch liquid. Mixed well and the sauce is done.

7. Slice the  Baked Spice Gravy Pork Belly into desired size, serve with the sauce.

Wow!! it's so yummy... when eat together with rice..💕

My Autumn

AUTUMN

The season of the year between summer and winter, during which the weather becomes cooler and many plants become dormant,  extending in the Northern Hemisphere from the autumnal equinox to the winter solstice and popularly considered to include the months of September, October and November; fall.  In the Southern Hemisphere autumn includes March, April and May.

Autumn ~ fall ~
is the eternal corrective. It is ripeness and color and a time of completion;  but it is also breadth, and depth, and distance.

What man can stand with autumn on a hilltop and fail to see the span of his world and the substance of the rolling hills that reach to the far horizon? ~Hal Borland~

My Word Wow

I like Word Wow..., it's a word game and it is really a fun game that challenges my spelling skills and also in making of words.

In this Word Wow I will have to make words to dig deeper into the ground. As I dig down, Worm will follow until I can guide the Worm to the bottom exit before the time runs out. Making words quickly to string together bonuses, and also to clear the path.

If you find Worm stuck and cannot come up with any words, I will use a bomb to clear some of the tiles. As Worm moves down the board, more letters become available. The bigger words I make, more points I will earn...make enough points in each level to earn three stars.

Wow!! I just love every level with three stars and a diamond. Word Wow really sharpens and reflexes my brain.💕
