The Bookworm
The Bookworm loves to read,
In a clean, well-lighted library,
of adventures, fantasies and fairies.
That takes him to faraway places.
Turning the pages of the books,
the Bookworm is mesmerism.
While the dictionary dozes.
His curious mind goes to work.
Right next to the books,
the Bookworm won't be sad too long,
if he is left alone, in a library filled
with books and stories.
